Drawings

These drawings are the basis of, and form the stories for, my glass panels.

The images — often including language fragments — are composed of ‘lines’ broken into dots or pulses, rhytmically attuned.

Once etched onto glass and lit, the dots form multiple light paths, making vivid the shifting perpsectives that haunt our ‘readings’ of the world via our various sign systems — marrying glass and light with language, so as to create a vibration between transparency and opacity; looking at and looking through; seeing and reading.

Drawings can be reproduced in large prints.
